The Sage Intacct Solutions Engineer will lead technical discovery and solution architecture, partner with sales on demos, and ensure successful implementations for clients.
Our client is seeking a Sage Intacct Solutions Engineer to play a critical role in driving high-quality, successful sales outcomes. As the technical expert in the sales process, you’ll partner with Account Executives to run discovery, design solutions, deliver tailored demos, and ensure every deal is accurately scoped for implementation success.
Role and Responsibilites
- Lead technical discovery with prospects to understand workflows, challenges, data structures, and integration needs
- Translate customer requirements into clear solution architecture and scope recommendations
- Build and deliver tailored Sage Intacct demos aligned to industry-specific outcomes
- Partner with AEs on deal strategy and competitive positioning
- Support SOW creation by providing accurate estimates, risk identification, and configuration assumptions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, COOs, and Owners evaluating ERP change
- Identify AVT Connect opportunities and guide integration design discussions
- Collaborate with Consulting leadership to ensure alignment between the proposed solution and delivery capabilities
- Provide market, product, and competitor feedback to Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
- Maintain demo environments, sample datasets, and vertical-specific demo scripts

Ideal Background
- Hands-on Sage Intacct experience (implementation, configuration, or deep functional use)
- Strong understanding of accounting workflows (GL, AP, AR, project accounting, job cost, consolidations)
- Experience with one or more of our core industries: Construction/CRE, Distribution, Professional Services
- Familiarity with common integrations (Procore, payroll systems, billing systems, etc.)
- Ability to run high-quality demos to CFO-level audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A calm, steady presence in complex deal cycles
Nice to Have
- Experience with integration platforms or API-based workflows
- Prior pre-sales or sales engineering experience
- Background in public accounting, controllership, or financial operations
- Experience with other ERPs (BC, NetSuite, Acumatica)
