Role Overview

As a Sales Associate within our Investment Banking Advisory & Capital Markets business, you will help grow revenue by building pipeline and supporting client deals across our solutions.

This is a development-focused sales role for emerging professionals who want to build a career in financial technology. You will work closely with experienced sales specialists, learn the full sales cycle, and contribute to live opportunities from day one.

Top performers in this role typically progress into Sales Specialist positions within 18–24 months.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the development of new business opportunities across investment banks, private equity firms, and advisory clients

  • Build and qualify pipeline through prospecting and outreach activities

  • Partner with sales colleagues on active deals, contributing to client engagement, positioning, and execution

  • Assist in preparing and delivering product demonstrations and client presentations

  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts in collaboration with Account Managers

  • Develop a strong understanding of client workflows, market trends, and LSEG’s product suite

  • Contribute to territory planning and sales strategy execution

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, finance, consulting, or a client-facing role

  • Strong curiosity about financial markets and capital markets workflows

  • Proven track record to build relationships and communicate effectively

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several priorities

  • Team-oriented perspective with a willingness to collaborate and learn from others

  • Exposure to financial data platforms, fintech, or SaaS environments

  • Familiarity with investment banking, private equity, or capital raising processes

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $102,000 - $170,000.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match. LSEG’s Benefits plan also includes basic life insurance, disability benefits, emergency backup dependent care, adoption assistance commuter assistance etc.
