About the Role
Elly is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to accelerate our go-to-market engine. You’ll be the first voice prospects hear from Elly — responsible for turning curiosity into conversations and conversations into pipeline.

You’ll work side-by-side with founders, marketing, and sales leadership in our NYC office. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on high-energy collaboration, loves connecting with people, and wants to grow quickly within a fast-scaling AI startup. What You’ll Do
  • Respond to inbound leads with speed, professionalism, and genuine curiosity.
  • Run outbound campaigns targeting recruiters, talent leaders, and founders across high-growth companies.
  • Qualify opportunities through thoughtful conversations that uncover challenges and align them to Elly’s platform.
  • Schedule and manage hand-offs to Account Executives with clear context and detailed CRM notes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing to refine messaging and drive campaign performance.
  • Maintain clean, accurate data and track activity and performance metrics in HubSpot (or similar CRM).
  • Represent Elly’s mission and brand with authenticity, enthusiasm, and conviction.
What You’ll Bring
  • 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume sales, recruiting, or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — confident speaking with executives and operators alike.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing dozens of prospects simultaneously.
  • Natural curiosity and a genuine interest in technology, AI, and the future of work.
  • Self-starter mentality with a bias toward action and learning by doing.
  • Positive attitude, grit, and the drive to win as part of a team.
Bonus Points
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRMs.
  • Experience in SaaS, recruiting tech, or HR solutions.
  • Startup experience or interest in early-stage company building.
Our Values
We’re building a winning culture and we’re looking for people who are up for the challenge.
  • In-Person Only: We work full-time together in our NYC office — collaboration happens best face-to-face.
  • Move Fast: Prioritize impact, ship quickly, and learn by doing.
  • Own the Outcome: Take full responsibility. Deliver results. No excuses.
  • Challenge the Status Quo: Question assumptions and build better systems.
  • Bring the Energy: Recruiting moves fast — so do we. Stay sharp, stay positive, stay moving.
  • Win Together: We succeed as one team, with shared goals and shared wins.

This is an in-office, high-impact role designed for people who want to move fast, grow fast, and help redefine how companies hire.
