At Firefly, we are looking for a talented SDR to join our global Sales team. The position is fully remote, open for all US locations.

As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that our company’s sales goals are met.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of success in sales development. If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities in the US and EMEA market (with a focus on outbound motion and conference leads).
  • Contact and qualify potential customers.
  • Set appointments and follow up on leads.
  • Track progress towards meeting sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets.
  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) software, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and a sales engagement platform (e.g., Amplemarket, Outreach) to manage and scale outbound activity.
  • Use AI/LLM tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to support prospecting, research, and personalized outreach.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Up to 1.5 years of experience as an SDR in the tech industry
  • Comfortable and experienced with cold calling as a core, daily part of prospecting.
  • Experience or familiarity with DevOps / Cloud-related companies - a big advantage.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Working knowledge of, or willingness to quickly learn, AI/LLM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients.
  • Knowledge of cold calling sales techniques and strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Backup/ DevOps / or Cloud-related companies.
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience.
