About the role:

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team at StarTree. The candidate will have an exciting opportunity to be early in our SDR program helping us to shape the program and career path for entry level sales reps within StarTree. This role requires a blend of intelligence, creativity, strategic thinking, tech-savviness, and strong work ethic to grind out the lead follow-up tactics. Key Responsibilities:

  • As Sales Development Representative (SDR) at StarTree, you’ll play a key role in between sales & marketing building our pipeline.
  • You’ll focus on qualifying and managing inbound leads delivered by marketing, and partner closely with marketing to deliver feedback on the quality of leads.
  • The core tasks will require calling & emailing leads following up on their interest to better understand their needs, setting up meetings to share how StarTree can help, and ultimately passing qualified contacts over to sales once it’s clear there’s an opportunity.
  • You will be goaled on lead follow-up activity volume, hitting response-time Service Level Agreements (SLAs - typically 24 hrs), and will have performance bonuses associated with opportunities that become qualified.
  • Along the way you’ll need to perform research to better understand prospects businesses to create tailored communications.
  • This role does not include the outbound motion where you’re cold-calling prospects who’ve not expressed interest, the candidate will exclusively focus on the inbound marketing funnel lead progression.

  • 1-2 years of professional work experience as an ISR or SDR within the tech industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The On Target Earning (OTE) for US full-time this position is $100K with a base salary range of $70K subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. Additionally, new hires receive competitive and compelling equity grants, and access to a comprehensive benefits offering. The base salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for candidates. The Salary and Equity compensation offered may vary depending on factors including: location, skills, experience, and the assessment process.
