Why This Role Matters

As Sales Director, Tourism, you will lead and scale Azira’s sales efforts within the Tourism vertical, owning revenue strategy and execution across DMOs and their agency partners. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving new business, expanding existing accounts, and building strategic relationships through the sale of Azira’s data-powered marketing and location intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep tourism industry expertise, a strong network, and a passion for helping organizations use data to make smarter marketing decisions. What You’ll Do
  • Develop deep expertise in Azira’s products and value proposition to effectively position solutions within the Tourism market
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and consultative selling
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their objectives and deliver tailored solutions
  • Grow and manage a healthy sales pipeline while driving accurate forecasting and performance reporting
  • Present and demonstrate solutions that align with customer goals, priorities, and marketing challenges
  • Lead pricing discussions, negotiate terms, and manage contract execution to successfully close deals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and client success teams to align strategy, communicate customer insights, and improve sales processes
  • Share market trends, client feedback, and performance insights with sales leadership to inform go-to-market strategy
  • Represent Azira at client meetings, industry events, and conferences to expand relationships and brand presence


What You’ll Bring
  • 7+ years of sales experience in the Tourism industry, focused on marketing, media, or data-driven solutions
  • Proven success selling to DMOs and agency partners
  • Strong background in media sales, ad tech, audience targeting, and measurement
  • Consultative, solution-selling mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth
  • Data-driven and analytical, with the ability to translate insights into business value
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with programmatic advertising, location-based marketing, or data-powered media solutions preferred
