We’re creating products that unlock new value at the intersection of discovery, engagement, and conversion. We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team at Button. We’ve built a world-class product and team to operate it, and already work with many of the world’s top brands and publishers. Your challenge, as Sales Director, will be to deliver Button’s value proposition to the rest.

This position is based out of Button's NYC Hub, with Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays spent in-office.

AS A SALES DIRECTOR, YOU WILL:

  • Lead the sales process - from prospecting through onboarding - for new Button partners, focusing on Enterprise Retailers and Direct to Consumer brands. Exceed quarterly targets through prospecting, developing, and persuading key decision makers at target companies, which may include Performance Marketing and/or Affiliate Teams, Brand Marketing teams and Procurement teams
  • Exude innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship in every interaction you have externally and internally.
  • Be the voice of the customer – work with Button’s product and engineering teams to ensure that Button’s technology continues to deliver the experience and value-add that our partners value
  • Leverage and grow your network to drive new business acquisition.
  • Become intimately familiar with Button’s technology, partnering with Button’s solutions engineering team to drive technical integrations quickly and seamlessly.
  • Partner with Button’s marketing team to tell our story in a clear, consistent, compelling manner.
WE LOOK FOR TEAMMATES WHO HAVE:
  • A consistent track record of success owning a complex, enterprise sales process that involves marketing and technical product stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in the enterprise sales space.
  • Used creative thinking to unlock prospects and deliver value to their organization.
  • Experience building relationships based on education and industry-expertise.
  • Worked in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and valued two-way communication to bring innovation to a platform
  • Delivered new technology solutions for marketers.

Compensation and Benefits:

Button is one of the fastest growing and profitable growth equity backed companies based out of NYC.  Backed by PSG, Button is pioneering new ways for companies to build revenue models at the intersection of creators, retailers, and brands. We’ve been recognized multiple times by BuiltIn, Fortune, Inc., and Crain’s magazines as one of the best places to work in the US, and we’re building a team of happy warriors to bring the company to greater heights.

Button provides employees with a RemotePlus workplace, which blends “work from anywhere” with in-person collaboration. Button has a “hub” workspace in New York City as well as team members distributed across the United States and beyond. Button’s total compensation package includes a base salary competitive with what is offered by similar companies in major US markets. The on-target earnings range for this role is expected to be between $230,000 - $300,000 (offered salary is based on a number of factors including skills and experience relative to the job description listed above).

In addition, Button provides employees with a 401(k) plan and automatically contributes 3% of an employee’s salary annually. We also want our employees to be well-rested and live balanced lives–Buttonians enjoy unlimited time off (including birthdays off) and periodic Mental Health Weeks which allow the entire company to take a breath and recharge, as well as an employee assistance program.

For many of the health, vision, and dental insurance plans offered by Button, the company covers 100% of the premiums for employees and 75% for dependents. Button offers all employees and their dependents complimentary memberships to One Medical as well as a monthly stipend for mobile phone/internet and an annual lifestyle stipend. Button also offers employees in select markets “All Access” memberships to WeWork as well as regular “coworking days” and social events.

Most of all, Button offers our employees the opportunity to live our company values–Learn & Grow, Experiment, Adapt, and Deliver–and to be a part of an incredible team of humans working together to build a better internet, fueled by commerce.

Button is committed to being a welcoming and inclusive workplace for everyone, and we are intentional about making sure people feel respected, supported, and connected at work—regardless of who you are or where you come from.
