Position Description:

PAR Technology is building the number one restaurant technology company in the world. Our Sales team sells a connected platform across Loyalty, Pay, Ordering, Back-of-House (OPS), POS, Hardware, and Services to enterprise and emerging market restaurant brands. Enablement is how that strategy reaches the customer.

As the Sales Enablement Manager, you will own how our sellers learn, ramp, and sell. You will onboard new representatives, train the existing team, build the training and on-demand content they use in live deals, and verify through knowledge checks that the message in the field is the one we intend. You will partner closely with Sales leadership, Product, Product Marketing, and Marketing Enablement.

This role is well suited for someone who has carried a sales quota or directly supported quota-carrying teams and who measures enablement success by what representatives do on customer calls, not by the number of sessions delivered.

Position Location:

Remote, United States

Reports To:

Director of Enablement

What We’re Looking For:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

· 5+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Enablement, Sales Training, Product Marketing, or a related field.

· Proven ability to onboard and train sales teams across live, virtual, and on-demand formats.

· Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the credibility to teach experienced sellers.

· Experience building training content and administering knowledge checks or certifications through a learning platform or sales enablement tool.

· Working knowledge of Salesforce and sales processes, along with comfort using enablement tools and learning management systems.

· Clear writing skills and sound instructional design judgment.

· Strong project management skills and the ability to manage several priorities against tight deadlines.

· Ability to work effectively with Sales leaders, Product teams, and executive stakeholders and earn trust quickly.

Additional skills:

· Knowledge of Gong, Showpad, and monday.com.

· Experience in restaurant technology, POS, hardware, or enterprise SaaS sales.

· Experience supporting complex, multi-product enterprise sales and emerging market or mid-market sales cycles.

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

· Own the onboarding program for new sales representatives from day one through full quota readiness, with clear milestones and certifications along the way.

· Partner with Sales managers to track time to first deal and time to full productivity and address the steps that slow representatives down.

· Plan and deliver live and virtual training on the PAR platform story, product updates, sales process, discovery, objection handling, and competitive positioning.

· Teach representatives how to sell Loyalty, POS, Hardware, Back-of-House, Ordering, Pay, and Services together, with a focus on enterprise and emerging market buyers.

· Run role plays, call reviews, and pitch certifications that mirror real deal conversations.

· Build and maintain on-demand training in the learning platform and sales tools, including short videos, guides, and job aids that representatives can use during active deals.

· Create and manage sales playbooks, battlecards, case studies, and talk tracks in partnership with Product Marketing.

· Keep enablement content current, retire stale materials, and make resources easy for representatives to find.

· Establish program baselines so impact can be demonstrated, and build feedback loops using input from representatives, managers, win/loss data, and call recordings.

· Establish a regular Gong review rhythm to identify proactive enablement opportunities.

· Design and administer knowledge checks, quizzes, and certifications tied to the skills that move deals forward.

· Report on completion, scores, and readiness gaps by team, role, and segment, then use the results to shape the next round of training.

· Gather field insights to identify where deals stall and where sellers need stronger knowledge, messaging, or skills.

· Partner with Product on launch enablement so representatives are prepared before a release reaches customers.

· Monitor competitor messaging from companies such as Toast, Oracle, and NCR and equip representatives to respond effectively.

· Support Salesforce readiness by training representatives on required fields, stages, and processes.

· Serve as the connective tissue between Sales, Marketing, Product, Revenue Operations, and HR, translating cross-functional knowledge into practical resources sellers can use with customers.

· Present program plans, progress, and results to Sales leadership and executive stakeholders on a regular cadence.

· Secure executive sponsorship for major initiatives and clearly communicate the purpose behind each program to support field adoption.

What Success Looks Like:

· New sales representatives reach full productivity faster, and ramp time decreases year over year.

· Representatives pass certifications on the platform story and can position the full PAR platform as one connected solution.

· Representatives and managers actively use the content and tools developed through Sales Enablement.

· Knowledge-check results show fewer gaps in the topics that matter most during live deals.

· Product launches reach the field with training completed before customers begin asking questions.

AI Integration:

· Leverage AI tools to accelerate training development, analyze call and readiness insights, personalize learning content, identify knowledge gaps, and improve seller access to timely, accurate enablement resources while maintaining appropriate human review and judgment.
