As a Presales Engineer, you will have “hands-on” involvement in all aspects of Technical Sales activities for multiple accounts. You will be involved in the full sales cycle of our products: from identifying, documenting, and articulating business and technical requirements of a prospective customer, to the qualification, proposal, and post-sale transition.

If you are the ideal candidate, you possess both an extensive technical background and a strong account management background.

You must have outstanding communication skills that will enable you to explain our vision to CXO levels as well as to a technical audience. 


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Sales presentation providing technical validation.
  • Develop and conduct demos of software products for customers.
  • Identify pain points and design high-level technical propositions to solve them.
  • Scope, develop, and document Proofs of Concept.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with accounts.
  • Create and articulate value-proposition for our products.
  •  Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Architect solutions and solve technical challenges.
  • Expect 50% travel.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years in technical sales and/or Account Management.
  •  5+ years in data engineering.
  • BS in Computer Science or related field.
  • Demonstrated independence and result-driven work ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Development background.
  • SQL knowledge/expertise.
  •  Experience in leading POCs and demos for B2B software sale.
  • Ability to communicate the design and implementation of software systems including relevant strengths/weaknesses and reasons for implementation decisions.
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with C-level executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good understanding of scalable, distributed system architectures.
  • Good understanding of Enterprise software back-end architectures.
  •  Experience in leading POCs and demos for B2B software sale.
  • Experience in data hub deployment (including microservice layers).
  • Cassandra or NoSQL knowledge.
  • HTML/CSS knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time Required education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field Required experience:
  • Sales/Technical sales: 5 years.
  • Data Engineering: 5 years.
