Job Summary
The Event Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning and execution of marketing strategies and events across the New York region, including Long Island, the Bronx, and Brooklyn. This position reports directly to the Events Manager and works closely with the Area Marketing and Sales teams to ensure seamless and successful event execution.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering impactful, high-quality event experiences. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution: Coordinate and execute a variety of events-including, but not limited to, community, sponsorship, and MDU events-across Long Island, the Bronx, and Brooklyn in alignment with marketing and sales objectives.
Logistics & Collaboration: Partner with sales teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage event logistics, develop timelines, coordinate team schedules, and ensure on-site execution meets brand standards.
Documentation & Evaluation: Maintain organized event documentation, including budgets, contracts, recaps, and reports; conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
Inventory & Calendar Management: Manage promotional inventory and premium items, and maintain a comprehensive event calendar aligned with sales and marketing goals.
Operational Support: Provide administrative and operational support, including shipping, invoicing, and day-to-day marketing and event-related tasks.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in event coordination, project management, marketing, or related field required
Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Creative mindset with attention to detail and an eye for design
Ability to lead conversations with cross-functional teams and external partners
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel up to 75% within the New York region
Flexibility to support evening and weekend events as needed

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $51,408.00 - $84,456.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
