What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Determining needs, building value, and gaining acceptance of Verto's solutions with new clients.

  • Prospecting, identifying, and generating new opportunities via cold calling, email, phone, and LinkedIn to build a strong pipeline of targeted prospects.

  • Managing the sales pipeline through all sequential stages of the sales process: initial outreach, product demo, negotiation, and closing deals.

  • Taking a consultative approach with the management team while navigating multiple decision-makers.

  • Consistently exceeding your monthly sales quota and being well-compensated for doing so.

  • Working closely with the Account Management function to upsell and cross-sell the Verto suite of products.

What You Need:
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the payments space.

  • Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • A team player mentality with the ability to work independently toward lofty goals.

  • Excellent organisational skills, including prioritisation, scheduling, and time management.

  • A coachable, self-motivated, curious, and resilient mindset.

What We’d Like To See:
  • A "black book" of potential clients would be highly advantageous.

  • A well-rounded background with varied interests and proven leadership experience.

  • Experience in dealing with clients from Africa and the Middle East.

Step 3: Panel Interview - Meet key team members and discuss problem-solving scenarios. Step 4: CEO Chat - Meet our Co-founder and CEO and explore how you'll be contributing to the wider business strategy.

Step 5: Offer - We aim to make a decision quickly after the final interview.
