About the role:

Are you a master storyteller passionate about helping purpose-driven companies to achieve social impact and business goals, forge meaningful connections to their brands, and drive direct impact with their employees and in their communities? 

 

Blackbaud’s Corporate Impact Sales team is comprised of YourCause, a leader in software solutions for employee giving, volunteering and corporate grantmaking. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for establishing and building executive relationships and executing partnership programs with professionals spanning Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Marketing, Risk Management and Compliance, and Foundation teams representing financial institutions and representing companies of all industries.  

The Prospect Account Executive (PAE) is responsible for direct client contact with new prospective clients and achieving assigned revenue quota within a West Coast Territory. This includes educating institutional leaders about YourCause solutions and product offerings as well as providing clear and compelling proposals centered on how to use the Corporate Impact product platform to drive value in the organizations. The PAE is directly responsible for meeting revenue goals associated with a specific product set. 

 

The PAE is directly responsible for developing a plan and executing against weekly, monthly, and quarterly engagement opportunities to generate pipeline, and ultimately delivering against monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

This is a truly unique opportunity to be part of our Corporate Impact team that helps companies effect social change by delivering employee and community engagement software solutions that deliver measurable, data-driven results. You will be responsible for selling the YourCause suite of products that enable CSR professionals to more effectively and successfully set up, deploy, and run giving, volunteerism, and grant management programs for its employees. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Qualifying, pursuing and closing opportunities for our Corporate software solutions
  • Establishing and maintaining key account relationships
  • Serving as prospective clients' main point of contact and working with other departments as needed to provide answers and service
  • Providing return on investment (ROI) solutions in the form of product and service proposals
  • Continuously updating and maintaining active deals for pipeline management, daily activity and forecast data
  • Staying up-to-date as it relates to the markets which impact products or services
  • Reaching and exceeding monthly and quarterly quota
  • CSR experience preferred, not required

What we'll want you to have:

  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of successful sales experience is required, preferably selling experience in an IT or software (Saas) environment
  • Business development & growth driven mentality
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to make clear, compelling and value-focused sales presentations
  • A strong work ethic and goal-oriented attitude is required
  • Proven success in creating effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Excellent time-management skills with the discipline to handle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced, structured selling environment
  • Approximately 20% travel within territory is likely within a WEST COAST TERRITORY

The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $101,400.00 to $138,100.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
