Job Description

Summary

The Sales Operations Specialist II will be responsible for supporting the sales organization by coordinating and optimizing the end-to-end sales process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain and optimize CRM data integrity, including account updates, opportunity stages, and forecasting accuracy. Monitor pipeline health and identify stalled deals or process bottlenecks.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as win/loss trends, pipeline velocity, and quoting turnaround times, and provide summaries to leadership to support decision-making as well as insights to improve conversion rates.
  • Analyze territory performance, market segmentation, and pipeline potential.
  • Build dashboards and KPI reports around revenue trends, sales performance, and forecast accuracy.
  • Build and maintain analytical reports that summarize consultant partner activities and emerging market trends leveraging sales data and RFP outcomes with actionable insights.
  • Support the creation and refinement of sales process documentation, SOPs, and workflows. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce administrative friction for sales.
  • Provide event planning support for sales team members including attendance research, scheduling partner meetings and ROI calculation.
  • Manage internal sales calendar including attendance, logistics and cross functional support requested.
  • Support project management for sales initiatives and system rollouts.
  • Support intake and triage of new proposal requests including RFPs, RFIs, pricing requests and sales optimization requests.
  • Support SME coordination with sales for prospective client presentations.
  • Mentor and support onboarding of new team members through system tools, processes and reporting resources.

Education and/or Experience

BS/BA and 5+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 2 years' of SME in respective areas

Computer Skills

Proficiency in MS Office / Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software a plus.

Work Location

This position works on-site at the San Diego Headquarters or other company location (or from a remote location with management approval based on business requirements). Must provide adequate support to internal clients; be available for regular interactions and coordination of work with other employees, colleagues, clients, or vendors; as well as be available to facilitate effective decisions through collaboration with stakeholders.

Working Hours

This is a full-time non-exempt position requiring one to be able to work overtime from time to time in order to get the job done.  Therefore, one must have the ability to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required.  This may be changed at any time to meet the needs of the business.  The typical working hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

This position requires no travel; however, attendance may be required at various local conferences and meetings.
