Account Executive

We're looking for an Account executive to expand our presence and accelerate our growth in the New York market, aiming to scale nationally. You'll be responsible for establishing and driving our enterprise sales efforts and winning the market.

About the job
You will join our growing team of 79 people, and work closely with our founding team, consisting of two X-Googlers, an HR professional, and senior developers with many years of experience working with exponential technologies. You'll be an early, core-member of the New York team and you're in it for the long-run, part of ups and downs, and prepared to give it all you've got!
As part of our team, you will have focus on creating new business and new customers with enterprise companies. You will manage and complete complex sales-cycles often presenting to C-level executives. In other words, you're a closer! You thrive by owning and controlling an enterprise sales process with many stakeholders and naturally gather an internal team of marketing, pre-sales, delivery, and customer success colleagues around you.
- Converting prospects to high-value customers with a smile on their face
- Testing and applying different sales strategies to uncover the most efficient way to scale sales
- Structure our sales process and prepare for scaling the team with specialized sales development reps and customer success reps
- Responsible for reporting, metrics and forecasting
- Systematically gather customer feedback to further improve our product and offering
- Help automating relevant steps in the sales- and onboarding-process to further improve our efficiency and metrics
- You'll have lots of freedom and flexibility to shape and reshape your role
About you
- Demonstrated ability to consistently close sales and generate revenue
- 2 - 5+ years sales experience, with knowledge of technology and solid business-to-business sales experience
- Proven track record of successful internal and external relationship and stakeholder management
- Proven track record of selling to large enterprise (experience within SaaS is beneficial)
- Understand different stakeholders in a B2B buying processability to talk business with C-level executives on the customer side
- Strong team player capabilities but still a proactive self-starter
- Bachelor's or master's degree or other relevant education
- A few crooked fun facts, cool hobbies, or passions is a plus :)
