Business Development Associate
SeatGeek is transforming the way people buy tickets to live events, and you will be on the front line as a member of our growing partnerships team. Our job is to find the teams, leagues, and other creators that will partner with us in building a more open, modern, fan-friendly ticketing future.
You are analytical and detail-oriented, but also curious and creative. You know your way around financial models and slide decks, but also love meeting new people and ideas. You embrace the chance to work on multiple projects at once and are willing to do whatever it takes to get things done. You’re easy to work with, can communicate effectively, and are motivated by shared success.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborating with senior team to create and deliver presentations and pitches
- Evaluating deals and supporting negotiations
- Sourcing, attending and reporting on meetings with prospects
- Growing and tracking our sales funnel using financial models and reporting
- Learning as much as possible about the ticketing industry
Skills & Experience:
- 1-2 years in a business development or analytic role (e.g. consulting, banking) or substantial internship experience paired with an economic or finance degree
- Comfort with account management and other client-facing work
- Project management experience in a professional setting
- Experience working with Google Sheets or Excel
- Deep understanding of the sports and entertainment industry
- Experience creating decks with Google Slides or PowerPoint
