The Opportunity

Shutterstock is seeking a Business Development Manager to join the Emerging Markets team with a focus on Russian customers. Hard-working and goal oriented, with a “hunter” personality and a passion for sales, you will be working from our Berlin office with customers of all sizes and all industries.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets by growing business and revenue within the assigned territory
• Prospecting key target clients (both SMB and Enterprise) to meet new business objectives
• Sell a portfolio of products tailored the customer’s individual needs
• Identifying new revenue opportunities and creative ways to grow the business
• Creating strong relationships with key decision makers
• Building contact list through outbound communication
• Leading demonstrations of our Enterprise platform (with face-to-face meetings when needed)
• Educating accounts, prospects and decision makers on Shutterstock products and value proposition
• Strengthening Shutterstock awareness within assigned territory list
• Identify, negotiate and plan marketing, PR and social activities

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of outbound B2B sales experience
• Proven track record in consistently exceeding sales targets and building a large portfolio of clients
• Ability to foster relationships with key decision makers
• Adaptable to a fast paced and changing environment
• Possesses a high level of motivation and self-direction
• Fluent in English and Russian
• Stock photography, broadcasting, publishing industry knowledge an advantage
