About the role and New York City team:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will have the chance to learn from senior leadership, and you will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for the Advertising Sales team. You will manage both inbound and outbound campaigns by qualifying active buying interest and identifying critical decision-makers to position Adyoulike successfully. This position is all about learning and developing your knowledge. The role offers the potential for future roles in sales, marketing, and customer success with a growing, supportive team.

The NYC team takes pride in winning and growing as a team. They are naturally motivated and invested in continuous learning. This team is agile and responsible for increasing Adyoulike's customer base across the United States in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What you’ll be doing on the team:

  • Assist the team with account research using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Use a combination of phone, email, and social media to help build our Advertising Sales pipeline by connecting with prospective customers, understanding their needs, and identifying the best way to position Adyoulike
  • Cold call outbound prospects to setup qualified meetings for the Advertising Sales team
  • Call on marketing leads to gather information and create opportunities
  • Work with the Advertising Sales team to develop and execute account and territory plans
  • Database clean-up to insure prospect and account accuracy
  • Manage prospect status and forecasting in Salesforce
  • Archive weekly and monthly metrics (e.g., appointments, qualified leads, new contacts)
  • Represent Native Advertising with a focus on Stories relative to the competition
  • Forecast and report sales activity and metrics
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customers’ critical business drivers
  • Track sales activity and maintain impeccable CRM hygiene
  • Deliver the highest level of sales and customer service

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience

  • US Citizenship required
