We are looking to add a dynamic, brilliant, and kind Business Utility Representative to our growing team. To be successful in this role you must be a team player that has the ability to wear multiple hats by working closely with with the sales, product and research teams.

This role will help us define and deliver the next generation of Alibaba.com’s solutions. Together we are transforming the leader in a $600bn market into a new multi-trillion dollar global commerce ecosystem. As a Business Utility Representative, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a startup environment while gaining valuable business experience. You will be part of a developing team of Business Utility Representatives who will directly impact the growth of our company. We are looking for people that embrace aggressive goals, challenges, and new opportunities.

What You Will Do

  • Develop new relationships through phone, email, and social media in order to establish meetings with senior level decision makers in our target accounts
  • Assist in the consultative sales process by learning as much as you can about a prospect, uncovering their business needs and sharing that information with the sales team
  • Utilize our CRM, marketing automation and sales acceleration tools to manage your pipeline and maintain accurate information about prospects and target accounts
  • Manage a high volume of leads
  • Meet and strive to exceed monthly goals
  • Support marketing in driving attendance at our targeted industry events

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ideal, but not absolutely necessary: 6+ months of sales or sales development (SDR) experience (SaaS Sales a plus)
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Able to work independently in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment
  • Experience using a CRM and actively managing a lead pipeline
  • Experience hosting and planning events
  • Familiarity with sourcing and the manufacturing of products
