Clyde is an end-to-end product protection platform that is re-thinking the way retailers increase loyalty and drive revenue, and the way customers manage their purchases. We are tackling the $50B per year extended warranty market and becoming the de facto solution in the space by leveraging an intense focus on product, design, and customer experience. Clyde delivers product protection plans directly to consumers as they shop, owning the relationship from purchase to claim submission to resolution. We know that the relationship between retailers and their customers is far from over after checkout, so we’re building products to deliver value at every stage of this relationship.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Director of Sales Strategy & Operations will support functions essential to sales strategy and operational efficiency. This individual will drive the overall growth of the sales organization by improving sales force effectiveness and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives are prioritized within the sales organization. The Director of Sales Strategy & Operations will build a foundation of excellence by helping define and reinforce sales strategy with business processes & best practices, budgeting, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented professional with strong business acumen, proven analytical skills, and a proven track record of increasing sales force productivity.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive process optimization, sales resource planning, reporting, market and opportunity analysis, and sales forecasting & pipeline analysis
  • Design and formalize end-to-end sales operations from initial prospecting to signed customer
  • Assist VP Sales with analysis and development of KPIs
  • Develop sales reports and dashboards to effectively manage and monitor sales team performance
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on sales programs and incentives to support strategic initiatives
  • Support VP Sales with territory and quota design process
  • Guide the selection of new systems & tools to improve sales processes
  • Liaise across finance, product, marketing, partnerships, and other GTM functions

  • You are a steady hand at managing stakeholders across organizational boundaries to effect change and move the needle

What We Look For

  • 7+ years of sales operations experience in a SaaS environment, with comprehensive understanding of, and experience optimizing the GTM technology stack
  • Proven track record of delivering sales pipeline improvements; you are an Excel & business intelligence tool wizard
  • Thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with the ability to work effectively across functions and with a leadership team
  • Disciplined and able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Effectively operate with minimal supervision and can be relied upon to deliver on commitments effectively
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with the sales tool stack (i.e. SFDC, Outreach, Similarweb, Zoominfo, and GSuite)
