About The Role 

This is a unique opportunity to expand Angi Managed Services’s nascent sales team to a full-fledged vertical within the organization. You will redefine our sales approach and strategy, manage a 50 people sales team (expected to go up to 100 by end of 2022) and build a well-running sales machine. You will own the sales function and assume full ownership of sales strategy and operations. 

What you’ll do

  • Manage a large team of sales associates and be responsible for their performance
  • Take responsibility for planning, forecasting and staffing 
  • Own critical business KPIs: sold dollars, margin and agent productivity
  • Evaluate and interpret sales data to identify trends and opportunities. You will turn these insights into actionable sales processes and tactics. You will then test, learn and try again
  • Work cross functionally with internal and external partners to ensure alignment across the sales team’s goal and operations

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of professional experience, which should include a mix of sales operations and sales management
  • Experience managing a high-performance team
  • An understanding of sales methodologies and sales funnel management
  • Ability to drive initiatives forward and work cross-functionally 
  • Analytical and ambitious people, with a desire to learn and grow rapidly
  • Structured thinkers, with strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Willingness to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to ensure success
  • Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced work environment; hack, test and learn mentality; team player
  • Direct-to-consumer sales experience is preferred
