WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Are you a master relationship builder, sales leader, and creative problem solver?

Are you versed in the agency landscape, with strong and impactful relationships?
If so, you may be a great fit as our new GM, Business Development. As a sales leader of the New York office, you are accountable for delivering on regional revenue targets within the East Coast region by effectively managing go to market plans & establishing new business prospects across our team. This hands-on role is responsiblefor identifying and securing new revenue opportunities while working with key internal partners to deliver and support long-term regional success. Expected results are the attainment of revenue, profitability, and forecast accuracy goals established with the Head of North American Sales, and US counterparts.
WHO YOU ARE:
Develop a deep technical understanding of our platform, competitive positioning, and an informed view of the value chain within programmatic advertising
Partner with high-level executives as part of a small, tight-knit sales team aligned towards the growth of the media business as a whole
Craft and drive a strategic plan to achieve revenue goals through existing business growth and seek out new customers to build on the platform
Communicate the value of our media buying platform through detailed demonstrations of the product
Work cross-functionally with The Trade Desk’s account managers, solutions architects, and engineers to guide successful customer integrations
Manage a lean team of Enterprise sellers
Work closely with our product and engineering teams to help to craft our platform
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university; MBA or other advanced degrees a plus
Needs to have 3-5 yearsof relevant sales experience (online advertising, outbound sales, or sales engineering)
Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roles
Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
Experience in managing longer sales cycles with multiple partner interests.
Strategic and analytical sales approach with a focus on building relationships with top tier clients
Previous management experience preferred
Able to travel 10-15% of the time
