Trendy Pal is looking for a sales development champion to join our team!

We are searching for someone who is naturally persuasive and influential, with the ability to negotiate and make sales. We are looking for someone who can speak enthusiastically and naturally about fashion & lifestyle and why Trendy Pal is an incredibly valuable service for indie shops.

 

Short term goals: Your primary focus will be bringing on new shops as partners that fit our partnership criteria for our first target market (New York), and helping drive sales growth with those new partners. The role requires emailing, cold calling, face-to-face meetings, and support with the in-store materials and app launch.

 

Long-term goals: Building a Sales Team from the ground up, hiring local sales reps and setting up the foundations for our sales operations in NY and the US.

 

This is a full-time position located in New York.

 

Primary Duties

  • Serve as the main sales contact for Trendy Pal, designing and executing campaigns to drive leads and increase the sales pipeline
  • Responsible for prospecting, qualifying and creating sales opportunities
  • Communicate constantly with prospects via email, phone, drop-ins and face-to-face meetings
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals
  • Partner smoothly and onboard new shops, while teaching them how to use the platform, generate transactions, get followers' purchases and celebrate with us rewarding Trendy Pals for successful shares!

 

Basic Qualifications (required):

  • A natural influencer, persuader, negotiator and salesperson. Someone who can speak enthusiastically and naturally about fashion & lifestyle and why Trendy Pal is an incredibly valuable service for indie shops
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in B2C and B2B sales
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills and experience working with cross-functional tasks
  • Multi-tasker who is unbelievably organized and possesses the ability to prioritize many tasks across various teams within the organization
