About The Role

We're looking for a diligent, disciplined Sales Representative to aid in our sales and prospecting efforts in an efficient and personal manner. You will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. We’re seeking a candidate with experience with outbound sales prospecting, conducting a high volume of outbound sales calls, and working within a fast paced and high performing team. The candidate will need to become an expert on EdApp and adapt product recommendations quickly to suit client needs - asking probing questions and overcoming customer objections and rejection will be critical to your success.

This is a great opportunity to learn about how a new product goes to market and be exposed to a range of large multinational organizations across all industries who are at the forefront of learning and innovation.

This role has great potential for growth within the company, so we are eager to have someone who wants to grow with Ed. 

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Execute outreach strategies via email, phone and social channels.

  • Prospecting, educating, qualifying, and developing Target Accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready leads and opportunities.

  • Researching companies, and identifying key players in various industries and verticals.

  • Designing systems to better improve your sales funnels and performance.

  • Diligently documenting your progress to ensure full visibility across the team. We work with LinkedIn, Reply.io, Slack, Trello, HubSpot, G2Crowd and others.

  • Work alongside marketing and sales to source and engage with high potential prospects and companies.

  • Act as a consultative partner for potential customers; fielding questions, handling objections, and conducting demos.

 

Employment Requirements:

  • Smart, hungry and excited about a career in SaaS Sales

  • Experience with enterprise sales (preferred)

  • Eager for knowledge and a very keen researcher - you want to be in the know!

  • Resilient and persistent attitude towards sales

  • You are adaptable and can think on your feet

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - no fear of the phone

  • Ideally, you’ve had 1-3 years experience in Edtech, enterprise, or SaaS sales

  • 1-3+ successful years in a sales role

  • Ideally a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or similar

  • Must possess current US work authorization

  • Salary: $40,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year

    ~ 40K base with commission tied to qualified leads and demos
