We are looking for a experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Architect to join our expanding CDP team. This role is essential in designing, developing, and optimizing our clients' Data Cloud solutions and use cases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, and Data Analytics, to deliver engaging content and personalized experiences to our customers. This position will initially focus on Salesforce Data Cloud implementations and will gradually incorporate Salesforce Personalization as client adoption and the product's maturity increase. You will play a key role in broadening our team's expertise and ensuring we deliver top-tier solutions to our clients.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • You'll lead the full implementation lifecycle of Salesforce Data Cloud, from data acquisition and integration to quality assurance, activation, and ongoing use.
  • You'll design and document scalable and robust solutions on-site with clients, translating business requirements into detailed technical tasks for offshore development teams.
  • You'll serve as the primary technical expert for offshore resources, providing hands-on support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • You'll develop and execute sophisticated data-driven segmentation strategies to enable precise audience targeting and personalized customer journeys.
  • You'll design, document, and implement comprehensive data models, pipelines, and transformations to support data ingestion, integration, and enrichment within Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • You will act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP), and the evolving Salesforce Personalization (Einstein Personalization) landscape.
  • You'll integrate data from diverse sources, including Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds, various databases, and third-party platforms, to create a unified customer profile and support advanced marketing and personalization efforts.
  • You will actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, contribute to practice development, and lead internal proof-of-concept (POC) projects and demo builds.
  • You'll guide and support junior-level resources within the offshore team, fostering their technical growth and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Stay current with the Salesforce release cycles and emerging industry trends, particularly in AI and cloud technologies, to provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of overall experience in a technical role, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience focused on Salesforce Data Cloud and/or custom database solutions.
  • Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification is mandatory.
  • Proven hands-on experience with other Salesforce core products, particularly Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP/Evergage) is highly desirable, along with a proven ability to transfer skills to the new Salesforce Personalization platform.
  • A deep understanding of marketing automation, data segmentation, personalized customer journeys, decisioning, and Next Best Action strategies.
  • Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, data integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica), and SQL proficiency.
  • Strong working knowledge of core Salesforce platform concepts such as Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Apex.
  • Experience with Data Actions and Flow integrations, along with API utilization for seamless data exchange.
  • Familiarity with broader cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake) is a significant advantage.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications, particularly the Agentforce Specialist credential, would be a major advantage given the current AI boom.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or comparable work experience.

This is a remote position with up to 25% travel. You will be reporting to the architect—decisioning director. You will not have managerial responsibilities.
