About the role .
The SCA Analyst plays a critical role in providing visibility into North American Sustainable Competitive Advantage (SCA) initiatives. This role will be knowledgeable of the granular project level details, as well as providing a consolidated view of Global Snacking SCA performance from both a financial and strategic perspective. This includes working closely with functional finance leads and workstream partners to drive overall structure and is the central point of contact for Snacking SCA. The SCA Analyst may also support the execution process across various programs including organizing cross-functional project teams and sharing learnings globally.
This position works collaboratively with others, institutes best practices, and challenges the status quo by demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement. This role will drive clarity, structure, and automation of SCA tracking and sharing learnings. The SCA Analyst will have a comprehensive understanding of the flow of SCA within Global Snacking strategic framework, as well as global standards for SCA Project scope. This role will often assist project manager tasks and contribute to the execution of strategic projects. Finally, be willing and able to declare breakdowns and drive to resolution with breakthroughs.
This role is a launchpad within Global Snacking-exposing the individual to senior leaders, cross ‑ functional teams, and high ‑ priority initiatives that materially shape McCain's profitability and competitiveness. Successful candidates will gain hands ‑ on experience across operations, finance, procurement, supply chain, and R&D, building a transferable skillset in analytics, project leadership, and strategic problem ‑ solving.
What you'll be doing .
  • Facilitating cross-functional calls to review projects for shared learnings across workstreams and regions
  • Consolidate month end SCA reporting results in conjunction with business partners
  • Deep understanding of Snacking strategic initiatives and targets by workstream & region
  • Build and maintain SCA performance dashboards, enabling real ‑ time visibility (leveraging Excel, PowerBI, or BI tools)
  • Translate financial and operational insights into actionable recommendations for workstream owners and Snacking LT
  • Support project execution through milestone tracking, meeting facilitation, and issue resolution, ensuring initiatives stay on ‑ track
  • Ability to identify risks and opportunities, immediately declare breakdowns and challenges and work with respective Finance or workstream counterparts to better understand the driving factors
  • Coordinate workstream pipeline development on potential projects and timing/resources needed for execution of savings

What you'll need to be successful .
  • Undergraduate degree in business, economics or accounting
  • Minimum +2 years' experience in business
  • Deep interest in project management, finance, strategic initiatives, and data & analytics
  • Detail oriented and able to complete tasks proficiently and with a sense of urgency
  • Curious and eager to dig into operational, financial, and technical details to understand cost drivers and value creation levers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as this role is highly visible to senior leaders, and will require engagement across multiple countries and cross-functional groups
  • Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills; ability to business partner with a diverse group of individuals and instill engagement and commitment to ambitious targets
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint), and ability to learn reporting tool systems quickly
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast ‑ changing environment with incomplete information, driving clarity through strong structure and communication
  • Ability to engage peers and senior stakeholders using data ‑ driven storytelling
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Compensation Package : $58,800.00 - $78,500.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
