In this role, you will lead and execute sensory and consumer research projects that shape our product and innovation strategies, with a strong focus on productivity and cost optimization.
You will play a key role in supporting reformulations and ingredient optimization projects, ensuring that consumer experience is maintained or improved while delivering business efficiencies.
You will also lead and execute innovation projects ensuring that the desired consumer experience is delivered.
You will represent the consumers' voice within cross-functional teams, ensuring our products meet quality and experience standards aligned with Mondelēz International's mission to Lead the Future of Snacking.
How you will contribute
You will:
  • Plan, lead, and execute consumer and sensory testing programs to support productivity, cost reduction and ingredient optimization projects, ensuring that consumer liking and product quality remain uncompromised.
  • Translate consumer feedback into clear technical direction for R&D teams to balance cost efficiency with desired consumer experience, presenting results to key project stakeholders (product developers, PCM, Marketing).
  • As an innovation project lead you will also design the learning plans to transform consumer data into clear insights to drive consumer-centric innovation.
  • You will work in teams when new methodologies and capabilities are being evaluated, proposed and implemented, working with other consumer scientists internally and all around the world, product developers and other cross-functional colleagues.
  • You will apply various digital tools to get a fast reach to consumers in different countries to get insights on their experience and convert them to an action plan.
  • You will collaborate with the regular panel leader on the sensory tests run by descriptive panels, preparing recommendations and communicating on the sensory test results.

What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
  • Qualification in food science, engineering, psychology, sociology, food technology, food chemistry, or related discipline
  • Experience in Consumer Science, incl. Qualitative and quantitative testing methods
  • Understanding of statistical theory and its application to sensory/consumer research and mastery in discrimination, descriptive analysis and a range of consumer research methodologies.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and scientific accuracy.
  • Digital fluency - comfortable using digital research tools and data platforms
  • Handling multiple priorities and adhering to deadlines
  • Project planning and management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to clearly convey findings, and influence through evidence.
  • Working with cross-functional teams and business partners.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment for self and others

Education / Certifications:
Degree holder, preferable with Sensory Qualifications.
Job specific requirements:
Strong knowledge of Consumer Science
Travel requirements: Wroclaw, Poland; travel only on an exceptional basis
