Broadridge is growing! We are seeking an enthusiastic Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master, this role is responsible for guiding Agile teams to deliver maximum business value through effective facilitation, communication, and collaboration. Partnering closely with the Product Owner, the Scrum Master ensures that prioritized, refined stories are delivered efficiently and in alignment with business goals. The position facilitates core Agile ceremonies—including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, and release planning—while proactively identifying and removing impediments to maintain team momentum. Acting as a key liaison between business, technology, and vendor partners, this individual promotes transparency, alignment, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings proven experience leading software development teams within financial services or technology, strong project management expertise, and proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project. Highly organized and detail-oriented, the Scrum Master communicates clearly, works well under pressure, and fosters collaboration to achieve successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the product owner to ensure the team are delivering on refined stories in a prioritized fashion to maximum business benefit
  • Facilitate agile processes including: sprint iteration planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint demo and retrospectives and release planning
  • Ensure removal of team level impediments and escalates non-team level blockers to conclusion
  • Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts.
  • Facilitate group meetings such as workshops.
  • Act as liaison between multiple business teams, technology teams and vendors to facilitate communications and support a shared vision of delivered functionality
  • Maintain appropriate project documentation
  • Timely communication of project statuses

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Scrum Master experience with a Software Development team
  • Project management experience in the financial services or technology industry
  • Experience managing multiple/combined complex projects in a successful program
  • Scrum Alliance CSM (required) CSP certification or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP) Scrum Alliance CSM (required) CSP certification or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP) preferred
  • MS Office, MS Project, JIRA and Confluence
  • Highly Organized
  • Attention to detail
  • Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Consensus building and negotiating skills

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $110,000 - $115,000.

Bonus Eligibility: Bonus Eligible
