About AFS Energy

AFS Energy is a European-rooted intermediary now building its presence in the US market. We help companies, governments, and investors navigate environmental commodity markets, from RECs and RNG to carbon and clean transport. Our edge is a deep network, tailor-made solutions, and over 175 years of combined group experience in financial markets. We're small, driven, and serious about what we do.

The role

We're looking for a Senior Account Executive to grow our North American client base. You'll be one of the first hires in the US, which means real ownership, real deals, and direct impact on how we build this market. No layers, no corporate politics, your ownership is of the essence.

What you'll do
  • Build and manage relationships with clients in environmental commodities (carbon, RECs, RNG, clean fuels)

  • Originate and close deals, working closely with our Amsterdam team

  • Stay sharp on regulatory developments and market dynamics

  • Represent AFS at industry events and grow your network

What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in environmental commodities, in a brokerage, trading, or advisory role

  • An existing network in this space, whether on the buy or sell side

  • Someone who is self-directed and comfortable in a small team environment

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

What we offer
  • Salary $130k - $170k+ depending on experience, plus performance-based compensation

  • Ground-floor opportunity in a growing US expansion

  • Backing of an established European group with real market presence

  • 20 days PTO
