THE ROLE

Interdependence is seeking a proactive and creative Senior Account Executive to join our Consumer PR team. This role is ideal for someone with strong media instincts, writing skills, and a passion for storytelling who is ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll support and execute campaigns for well-known consumer brands, secure top-tier media placements, and play a meaningful role in delivering strong results for clients.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client & Account Support

  • Serve as a day-to-day partner to clients, ensuring projects are completed on time and exceed expectations
  • Support the execution of strategic consumer PR plans and campaign initiatives
  • Maintain organized workflows across fast-moving account activities

Media Relations

  • Draft compelling pitches, press materials, messaging, and media communications
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant consumer media, influencers, and creators
  • Secure earned media coverage in lifestyle, consumer, culture, and emerging platforms

Campaign Execution

  • Support product launches, media events, experiential activations, and influencer programs
  • Conduct research and trend monitoring to inform storytelling opportunities
  • Track media conversations and elevate insights that support client positioning

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Monitor campaign performance, pulling metrics and preparing client-ready reports
  • Partner with creative, social, and digital teams to ensure integrated execution
  • Contribute ideas in brainstorms and help shape creative PR concepts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience in public relations or media — agency experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success pitching media and securing coverage
  • Strong writing and editing skills; AP Style familiarity
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing competing priorities
  • Passion for consumer brands, culture, trends, and storytelling
  • Positive, collaborative attitude with eagerness to learn and grow
