The Senior Account Executive will own a meaningful book of business, bringing stronger strategy, more independent client leadership, and sharper, insight-led proposals. You’ll be a key seller across partners within the Fashion, Footwear, and Luxury categories, with ownership over mid-to-large deals.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue across Hypebeast's media platform - digital, social, experiential, etc.
- Achieve annual gross revenue across digital, social, branded content, and experiential partnerships. Must meet Quarterly revenue targets.
- Develop a sales pipeline of revenue driving opportunities.
- Independently manage key client and agency relationships as the day-to-day lead.
- Must execute a high volume of day-to-day account activity, including weekly meetings with clients and agency partners.
- Build integrated proposals across digital, social, and experiential (with strong narrative + clear deliverables).
- Define and develop new business opportunities with advertisers and agencies
- Lead internal working sessions with Creative/Editorial/Production to shape concepts, scopes, and timelines.
- Support team development by sharing key marketplace learnings and best practices.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of Hypebeast's product offering and portfolio of services.
- Maintain a finger on the pulse of cultural shifts, proactively conducting research and analysis to inform sales strategy and stay ahead of the general media landscape.
Requirements:
- 4 - 6 years of experience in media sales, brand partnerships, or agency partnerships.
- Track record of hitting targets (revenue or comparable KPI goals).
- Experience selling branded content and storytelling-led solutions (not just standard media).
- Strong understanding of media/publishing industry and landscape, with an emphasis on social media.
- Exceptional presentation skills with comfort leading meetings and pitching ideas.
- Solid operational discipline (pipeline, forecasting, internal coordination).
- Strong understanding of how fashion/footwear/luxury brands show up credibly in culture and social.
- Well-organized and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and effectively is a must.
