Place Showroom is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive. Duties include but are not limited to, email outreach, staffing major trade shows on both coasts, and seeing key accounts on the road. The Candidate MUST have established relationships with major/key accounts in the women's apparel market. Candidate shall be responsible for maintaining the assigned collections, completing monthly sales plans and brand analysis, review selling reports and work with Sales Assistants to increase reorder business, coordinate advertising and CoOp opportunities, and meeting/exceeding monthly sales minimums.
Requirements:
- Excellent people skills
- The ability to excel in high-pressure and fast-paced situations
- Must have 5+ years wholesale sales experience in a similar role in the Women's Apparel/Accessory business
- Knowledge of current trends
- Must have applicable relationships in the industry with Major/Key Accounts (Department stores, e-commerce) and specialty accounts
- Professional office skills
- Proficiency in: Outlook, Microsoft Office
- Must be located in the NYC metro area, no remote candidates will be considered
- Must be able to travel up to 40%
- Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 base + bonus, commensurate with experience
