About Us:

Inizio Evoke Comms is a global, award-winning health communications agency that partners with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech, consumer, and non-profit clients. We deliver insights-driven public relations campaigns, policy programs, and initiatives that advance health and wellbeing around the world.

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our growing team! You will support client engagements by developing and executing existing and new programs across a variety of product communications including data/regulatory milestones, patient engagement, and disease state awareness campaigns. This is an opportunity to support client and new business development efforts across a range of healthcare clients, using your communications training and experience to improve health and make a difference.

This is a hybrid role out of our New York City office that will report into a Senior Vice President.

You Will:

Client Partnership

  • Build client counsel skills through regular interaction during client update calls, team meetings, etc.
  • Be the daily support team member on multiple client accounts
  • Liaise with company partners and vendors on client projects
  • Execute a variety of client program activities including research, materials development, leading event logistics, etc.
  • Lead development of client document drafts including press releases, Q&As, fact sheets, activity reports, social media calendars, etc. and proof all documents for thoroughness and accuracy before providing to other team members or client for review
  • Support monthly client billing, maintaining critical documents and files, beginning to take a more active role in budget development and management

Business Development & Operations

  • Conduct research on new business projects
  • Aid in development of new business materials (presentations, RFP responses)

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Display an ongoing willingness to gain knowledge and contribute to the team
  • Showcase flexibility in working across teams and ability to adapt to project needs, different team working styles, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with junior team members, serving as a role model and mentoring/providing direction on projects
  • Partner with specialty teams (creative, earned social and digital) to meet client needs, communicating project objectives, direction and timing
  • Support company values and an inclusive culture

You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree. in communications, marketing, business or health / science related field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of health communications agency experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A passion for improving patient lives through innovations in health
  • An understanding of current issues in domestic and global health
  • Social and traditional media experience

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary – that’s why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.
