Responsible for managing and growing key wholesale telecom accounts across the region, optimizing margins, and strengthening strategic partnerships with carriers, aggregators, and enterprise clients.

Account Management & Growth:

    • Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts across Asia, ME, and/or Africa
    • Drive margin growth through traffic expansion, new routes, and upselling opportunities
    • Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (commercial & technical)
    • Identify new partners (MNOs, MVNOs, aggregators)

Commercial & Negotiation

    • Negotiate rates and commercial terms
    • Optimize margin through routing strategy and supplier mix
    • Support discussions on pricing, contracts, and dispute resolution
    • Align commercial strategy with market trends and competition

Traffic & Performance Management

    • Monitor traffic flows, ACD, ASR, and quality KPIs
    • Work closely with routing teams to optimize performance
    • Manage overflow, capacity issues, and supplier balancing
    • Identify opportunities for growth in high-margin routes.

Market & Strategy

    • Maintain strong understanding of regional telecom markets
    • Track competitor activity and pricing trends
    • Identify new opportunities (routes, products, partnerships)
    • Contribute to regional strategy and forecasting

Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Work closely with routing, finance, and technical teams
    • Support dispute management and billing alignment
    • Provide input for product development (bundles, PAYG, CC routes)
    • Deliver regular performance updates and forecasts

Key Requirements:

    Experience

    • 10+ years in wholesale telecom (voice)
    • Strong experience in Asia, ME, and/or Africa markets
    • Proven track record in account growth
    • Skills

      • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
      • Deep understanding of telecom routing and wholesale dynamics
      • Analytical mindset (traffic analysis, margin optimisation)
      • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
      • Strong communication and stakeholder management

Preferred:

    • Existing relationships with regional operators and carriers
    • Experience with emerging voice demands (CC, OTP)
    • Multilingual (depending on region: Arabic, French, etc.)
