Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Account Manager - NYC at MA+Group. This is a senior client-facing role driving US accounts, integrated campaigns, and social AOR relationships. The role requires exceptional commercial instinct, cultural awareness, and high execution standards.

Our Account Managers are the key liaison between the client and the Group, responsible for ensuring marketing activities align with project goals while managing timelines, budgets, and internal teams.

This role requires strong communication and project management skills, with the Account Manager acting as the main point of contact for clients and coordinating across subsidiaries to ensure campaigns meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Act as the primary contact for brand managers, maintaining and nurturing trusted relationships.

  • Understand client objectives, challenges, and target audiences, translating them into clear creative briefs.

  • Set and manage client expectations, ensuring alignment with campaign strategy, timelines, and budgets.

  • Conduct regular status meetings, presentations, and performance reviews with clients.

  • Identify opportunities to grow client accounts and upsell additional services or campaigns.

Campaign Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the successful delivery of integrated campaigns across social, digital, experiential, influencer, production, and content.

  • Partner closely with Strategy, Creative, Production, and Talent teams throughout project development.

  • Ensure work is creatively ambitious while remaining commercially viable.

  • Oversee project workflows from briefing through production, launch, and reporting.

  • Review work before client presentation to ensure exceptional quality and attention to detail.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining consistently high standards.

Commercial & Financial Management

  • Own project budgets from estimation through reconciliation.

  • Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and timing plans.

  • Monitor profitability and proactively manage project margins.

  • Negotiate budgets, deliverables, and timelines with clients, suppliers, and production partners.

  • Forecast revenue and resource requirements across accounts.

  • Identify commercial risks early and implement solutions before they impact delivery.

Team Collaboration and Leadership

  • Lead internal project teams across departments, ensuring clarity, accountability, and momentum.

  • Mentor and develop Account Executives and Account Managers, providing regular coaching and feedback.

  • Foster a collaborative, positive, and solutions-focused team culture.

  • Support Business Directors with account planning, resource management, and team development.

  • Escalate issues appropriately while remaining solutions-oriented and calm under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years’ experience within a creative, social, integrated, or communications agency.

  • Proven experience managing complex client relationships and integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, profitability, and forecasting.

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management experience.

  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience leading global or regional brand accounts.

  • Experience across integrated campaigns spanning social, influencer, digital, experiential, and production.

  • Familiarity with creator marketing, talent partnerships, and social-first content production.

  • Experience managing high-value production budgets and multiple agency partners.

  • Demonstrated success in growing client accounts through strategic thinking and commercial opportunities.

  • Passion for culture, luxury, fashion, entertainment, and lifestyle brands.

Salary: £125,000-$145,000 depending on experience
