Forefront is seeking an experienced, strategic and client-focused marcomms professional to join us in a senior account management role supporting our fintech and capital markets clients.
This role is designed for someone who has 5-10 years of experience in a marketing and/or PR agency environment managing complex client relationships and overseeing integrated marketing and communications programs. The ideal candidate deeply understands the interplay of PR, content, digital marketing and brand positioning and the role each plays in advancing a firm’s strategic business objectives. Experience working with fintech and financial services clients is strongly preferred.
Reporting to the Head of Account Management, this role will serve as the senior day-to-day lead for multiple client relationships while overseeing the development and execution of integrated marcomms programs in collaboration with Forefront’s media, content and digital teams.
This is a full‑time position that includes a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work environment that balances remote productivity with in‑person collaboration (we ask everyone to work from our office on Wednesdays and Thursdays).
Responsibilities
Client & Account Leadership
- Own senior-level client relationships, serving as a trusted strategic advisor across communications and marketing initiatives
- Lead client goal-setting, ongoing strategic counsel and reporting
- Manage overall account health, resourcing, timelines and deliverables to ensure consistent client satisfaction
- Lead new account onboardings and kickoffs
Strategy & Execution
- Develop and oversee integrated marcomms strategies spanning earned media, content marketing and digital visibility
- Provide senior strategic guidance on messaging, positioning and media narratives
- Identify opportunities to elevate clients’ visibility across financial, fintech and capital markets audiences
- Provide oversight and support on press materials including announcements, bylines, contributed content and media pitches
Team Collaboration
- Partner closely with Forefront’s media relations, content, digital and design teams to execute client programs
- Ensure strong coordination across disciplines so campaigns deliver consistent messaging and measurable impact
- Provide clear direction, feedback and mentorship while fostering an empowering, collaborative team culture
Contribution to Firm Growth
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships, expand scope and drive organic growth
- Contribute to new business development efforts, including pitch participation and proposal development
Skills & Experience Needed to Succeed
- 5–10 years of experience within a marketing and/or PR agency or similar firm serving financial services, fintech or capital markets clients
- Proven experience managing senior-level client relationships and acting as a strategic advisor
- Strong understanding of how modern financial institutions and fintech firms use earned media, content, brand and digital marketing to achieve business goals
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into effective communications programs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; confident editor and reviewer
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities at agency pace
- Strong leadership presence with a collaborative, coaching mindset
- Ability to influence outcomes through insight, credibility and relationship-building
- Digitally fluent, with comfort leveraging analytics, reporting and emerging AI tools for efficiency and insight
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $90K–$140K (commensurate with experience), participation in Forefront’s profit‑sharing program and eligibility for additional incentive compensation.
