Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant I (Food & Beverage) to support financial operations within a dynamic hospitality/resort environment. This role partners closely with the Property Controller and plays a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, and inventory-driven F&B operations.

If you bring strong accounting fundamentals, hospitality or F&B experience, and Excel expertise, this is a great opportunity to grow within a fast-paced resort organization.

What You Will Do:

  • Prepare and post general ledger journal entries during month-end close
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations with full supporting documentation 
  • Analyze financial statements, revenue trends, and expense variances 
  • Partner with operations to identify and resolve financial discrepancies
  • Support F&B accounting processes, including revenue tracking and cost controls
  • Assist leadership with financial reporting and insights for decision-making
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting team, managers, and leadership

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • 2+ years in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or Retail accounting required 
  • Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) 
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) 
  • Familiarity with POS systems and F&B revenue processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Experience

  • Background in resorts, hotels, timeshare, or large-scale F&B operations
  • Experience with inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and margin analysis
  • Exposure to multi-unit or high-volume environments
