Job Objective: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting, account analysis and daily cash management. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

       Manage preparation of journal entries for prepaid expenses and fixed assets

       Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly and annual internal financial statements and ensure timely reporting

       Conduct financial analyses for leadership and stakeholders

       Ensure compliance with accounting standards

       Serve as primary contact for the cash receipts, prepaid assets and fixed assets cycles

       Assist with internal control testing, quarterly reviews and annual audits

       Monitor daily cash flow and perform periodic cash analysis

       Manage banking activities (preparing wires and bank transfers), including account oversight and recording of cash receipts

       Debit custodian accounts for clients

       Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies

Job Requirements

       Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

       SEC accounting experience preferred

       Proficiency with ERP systems, treasury management systems, and Excel

       Strong knowledge of cash management, banking operations, and treasury principles

       Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

       Strong communication skills

       Ability to work under tight deadlines and work well under pressure

       Highly organized with task management and able to consistently meet deadlines

       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred

       3-5 years of accounting experience; some public accounting preferred


The expected base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000, with a bonus based on individual and firm performance. Total compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and overall contribution.

The actual base compensation offered will be determined by various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant years of experience, career progression, qualifications, educational background, certifications or professional licenses, and role-specific skills. Base salary represents one element of Silvercrest’s comprehensive compensation package, which also includes robust benefits and may include incentive-based compensation.
