Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Manage and coordinate audits, including liaising with external auditors.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.
- Assist in financial planning, variance analysis, and cost control measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiencies.
- Stay updated with the latest accounting regulations and industry trends.
- Identify and effectively communicate existing and potential risks to the CAO.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Apps/Drive (Gmail, Google Docs & Sheets, Gcal and Google Express)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing audits and tax filings.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software.
  • Prior experience in financial forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Bilingual Preferred (Urdu & English)
