About The Role & Team

We are seeking an experienced regulatory reporting professional to join our Broker-Dealer Regulatory Reporting team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business leaders, finance partners, operations, and external stakeholders to support a dynamic prime brokerage platform.

In This Role, You Will

  • Regulatory Reporting & Compliance
    • Ensure ongoing compliance with SEA Rule 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 requirements
    • Prepare aspects of daily and month-end Net Capital and Customer Reserve computations
    • Assist in preparing weekly customer reserve calculations
    • Participate in the preparation of monthly FOCUS reporting packages
    • Support SEC and FINRA supplemental financial reporting
    • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial/statutory reporting


  • Prime Brokerage Support
    • Act as a subject matter expert on capital and reserve regulations
    • Support and/or lead regulatory reporting for prime brokerage activities
    • Determine capital impacts of new initiatives and strategic business decisions
    • Incorporate impacts into forward-looking capital forecasts and plans
    • Serve as a trusted regulatory advisor to the prime brokerage business


  • Business Partnership & Analysis
    • Work closely with business leaders, finance partners, and operations
    • Break down strategic problems and analyze data to provide actionable insights
    • Integrate financial and operational data to enhance efficiency and reporting
    • Recommend and implement solutions based on regulatory and financial analysis
    • Report financial results and regulatory metrics to senior management


  • Governance & Oversight
    • Liaise with regulatory examination teams and external auditors
    • Participate in month-end close processes
    • Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives
    • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

 

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in broker-dealer regulatory reporting
  • Active Series 27 (Financial and Operations Principal)
  • Strong working knowledge of SEC rules and regulations, primarily SEA Rule 15c3-1 (Net Capital Rule) and SEA Rule 15c3-3 (Customer Protection Rule)
  • Hands-on experience preparing daily Net Capital and Customer Reserve computations
  • Experience with monthly and quarterly FINRA reporting (FOCUS reporting)

This role is based in our NY Wall Street office (44 Wall Street, NYC), where in-person collaboration fuels growth, mentorship, and innovation. At Webull, we’re committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. The base salary range is $110,000 - 135,000 annually, plus a discretionary bonus and full benefits. Final offers consider experience, location, and relevant qualifications.
