Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Airline Economics Marketing Specialist to join our Sales & Marketing organization in Dubai, UAE
The ideal candidate will serve as a technical expert by analyzing and quantifying the economic and financial aspects of Boeing products and services relative to customers' needs and competitive offerings. Specifically, the role requires expertise in aircraft operating and introductory costs, maintenance costs, flight crew cost modeling, value analysis and proficiency in the areas of financial analysis.
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
  • Develop creative, persuasive presentations and value analyses that create a preference for Boeing products in support of sales campaigns
  • Confidently present comprehensive airplane economic value stories to customers, industry forums, Boeing executive management and trade associations
  • Develop feasibility studies that demonstrate the financial benefits of Boeing airplanes in an airline's system and assist airlines in optimizing fleet plans
  • Continually seek new, innovative ways to present Boeing products favorably in the market to a variety of audiences including airlines, lessors, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MROs), media, and the financial community
  • Create and maintain economic and financial methods and models that support the business function
  • Serve as a resource within Boeing, capable and proficient in the areas of financial analysis including: airplane ownership costs, cash flow, net present value, internal rate of return, knowledge of industry financial health, hard currency analysis, and lease vs. buy analysis
  • This job is on-site at Dubai office 5-days a week
  • The successful applicant should expect to spend up to 3 months with Boeing in Seattle initially, for role-related training and onboarding.
  • Operating within a global team, the successful applicant will work closely with other Sales and Marketing team members out of Dubai.
  • The role requires flexibility to collaborate with colleagues across multiple time zones, including work outside standard business hours, in accordance with applicable employment law and company policy

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years' experience of analyzing data and communicating results to executive leadership or customers
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally
  • Demonstrates a high level of initiative and a proactive approach to collaborating with other team members, problem-solving, and takes ownership of projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects of significant importance
  • Fluent English language proficiency

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience analyzing airline market or financial data
  • Familiarization with both Boeing and competitor products
  • Prior commercial aviation industry experience including airline or lessor
  • Language capabilities beyond English

Typical Education & Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Dubai, UAE. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable UAE law.
