Senior Analyst, Investor Relations

Reporting to: SVP, Investor Relations and Treasurer
Location (On-Site):
New York City, Midtown Manhattan – Fashion District

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Analyst, Investor Relations will support the Investor Relations function through research, presentation development, investor targeting projects, financial analysis, and peer benchmarking. This role will assist with investor-focused analyses, investor messaging, earnings support materials, and investor events.

Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, developing financial models, researching industry trends and peer companies, and supporting communication materials for analysts and investors. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are critical to success.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the wholesale, retail, and consumer industries while learning and growing within a corporate Investor Relations function.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyze business data sets and financial statements; conduct and document complex ad hoc financial analyses
• Prepare written materials and support the development of discussion and presentation materials, including memos, meeting agendas, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel analyses
• Assist in the preparation of reports on company, peer, and industry data and trends
• Support detailed peer company analyses for dissemination to senior management
• Assist in the creation of external communication materials, including earnings releases, investor presentations, Q&A materials, and scripts
• Review and summarize earnings releases and news from peer companies
• Prepare additional written materials and presentations as needed
• Research and monitor industry trends and market activity
• Support investor targeting projects and related analyses
• Develop presentations and decks for the Board of Directors and senior management
• Track stock market activity to support investor relations initiatives
• Assist in coordinating investor relations meetings, conferences, and distribution of materials
• Maintain the investor relations CRM database and related records
• Coordinate scheduling for department meetings with senior executives, analysts, and investors

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Experience:
• 5+ years of previous business and financial experience
• Background in equity research, investment management, investor relations, or related fields
• Consumer, retail, or wholesale industry experience preferred but not required

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business, economics, or finance

Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare polished executive-level presentations, earnings call materials, investor communications, and other high-visibility messaging with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated financial modeling and analytical skills with a thorough understanding of valuation techniques used by security analysts
• Highly organized and thoughtful with exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of FactSet a plus
• Strong understanding of financial statements
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams and leadership levels
• Proactive, dependable, and responsible team player capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work under pressure, handle confidential information with discretion, adapt to competing demands, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and responsiveness

The pay range for this position is: $120K–$165K per year.
