Job Description Summary
1. Overview
The Sr Payroll Analyst will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll across multiple countries. This role ensures the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of payroll processes, tax payments, and its related. The position plays a key role in supporting HR teams and employees by resolving payroll-related inquiries with a strong focus on customer service and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include managing payroll vendors, review payrolls, ensuring compliance with internal controls. The role also involves supporting audits, and contributing to global expansion projects such as acquisitions or new country setups. A critical aspect of this role is identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement and maintaining detailed documentation and procedural guidelines.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
2. Role• Manage country portfolio for payroll and benefit administration operationally• Ensure monthly labor reporting is accurate and support the results through the reconciliation process• Provide support to HR and employees by researching any inquiries and delivering excellent customer service• Ensure payroll accuracy following all controls• Create purchase orders as needed, review invoices and ensure proper invoice clearance• Identify problems that require investigation and analysis and develop solution options• Support project tasks related to expansion activities including acquisitions and new countries• Manage funding and process payments to ensure all employees are paid on time• Process tax payment for the different countries• Attend mandatory audits providing reports and information as needed• Manage payroll vendor and ensure payroll activities are process timely • Seak for process improvement • Crate and maintain up-to-date knowledge base and internal desktop procedures
3. All about You/Experience• Mandatory knowledge in Colombia, Argentina and Chile payroll - Ecuador and Peru is a plus • Proficient in speaking and writing in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus• Experience in payroll /finance/accounting• Demonstrates process management skills • Strong analytical/problem solving and planning skills• Ability to be flexible in a fast paced, deadline focused environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously acquired through previous experience in related field• Highly organized, articulate who knows how to develop and maintain excellent working relationships as well as providing strong customer satisfaction results are needed• Solid communication skills, ability and willingness to exercise initiative• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in groups to complete time-sensitive projects within internal and external deadlines.
