LAM Account Service IT Group is seeking a Senior Appian Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications on the Appian low‑code platform. This role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, ensuring scalable architecture, high-quality delivery, and alignment with enterprise technology standards. The ideal candidate will mentor developers, interact with clients, collaborate with architects and business stakeholders, and drive best practices for Appian development across projects.

We’ll trust you to: 

• Lead the design and development of complex applications using the Appian platform
• Architect scalable BPM and workflow automation solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, system architecture, and implementation plans
• Develop and maintain Appian components including process models, SAIL interfaces, records, reports, integrations, and data structures
• Oversee integration of Appian applications with enterprise systems through APIs, web services, messaging, and databases
• Establish development standards, best practices, and governance for Appian solutions
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization
• Mentor and guide junior Appian developers and support knowledge sharing within the team
• Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Participate in release planning, DevOps processes, and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive continuous improvement of existing applications

You’ll need to have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications on the Appian platform
• Strong expertise in Appian components including SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Expressions, and Data Types
• Experience designing enterprise-scale Appian architectures
• Strong experience with integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, and external databases
• Deep understanding of BPM, workflow automation, and business process optimization
• Strong experience with SQL and relational database design
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

It’s a bonus to have: 

• Appian Certified Senior Developer or Appian Lead Developer certification
• Experience with Appian RPA, AI capabilities, or intelligent automation.
• Experience implementing DevOps pipelines and CI/CD for Appian deployments.
• Experience with enterprise integrations (Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, cloud platforms).
• Experience in financial services, consulting, or large enterprise technology environments.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $130,000 - $170,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
