Business Overview


Our Clients & Strategy team covers Business Development, Investor Relations, External Relations, Sustainable Investment and Brand, Marketing & Communications, including Internal Communications.


It is responsible for all communications to investor prospects, existing investors and their asset consultants, as well as a broad range of other stakeholders, including governments and media.


The Role

  • Provide NAM support to the COO of Global Client Solutions and the broader GCS team in the following areas:
  • Contribute to, and produce, regular reporting on GCS metrics and performance Indicators via Salesforce and Pipe.
  • Act as point of contact for Salesforce, Pipe and Loopio across GCS in NAM, highlighting areas of potential improvement for delivery on a global basis.
  • Contribute to the design, and support the implementation, of the World Class IR programme.
  • Provide support to business development activities through the generation and provision of market intelligence and market mapping.
  • As required, collaborate with partners across the IFM business to advance the GCS mission, escalating issue to the COO as appropriate. 
  • Act as the NAM business point-person for the production of materials for inclusion in The Bridge and Town Halls.
  • Contribute to the control of the key operational and regulatory risks run by GCS, producing MI on risk profiles as necessary.

 

Strategic Planning

  • Contribute to, and produce, regular reporting on GCS metrics and performance Indicators via Salesforce, Pipe and Loopio.

 

Business Performance

  • Act as point of contact for Salesforce, Pipe and Loopio across GCS in NAM, highlighting areas of potential improvement for delivery on a global basis.
  • Contribute to the design, and support the implementation, of the World Class  IR programme.
  • Provide support to business development activities through the generation and provision of market intelligence and market mapping.

 

Policy and Process Management

  • As required, collaborate with partners across the IFM business to advance the GCS mission, escalating issue to the Global Head as appropriate. 
  • Act as the Australia business point-person for the production of materials for inclusion in The Bridge and Town Halls.
  • Contribute to the control of the key operational and regulatory risks run by GCS, producing MI on risk profiles as necessary.

 

Your Background and Experience

  • 5 plus years experience in a similar role within an Asset Manager – preference for Private Markets
  • Experience working with diverse teams of internal and external resources 
  • Project management and change management experience a plus; global project experience a significant plus
  • Experience of an institutional sales environment
  • Experience dealing with senior stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Tertiary education a preference but not essential
  • CFA, CAIA a plus but not essential
  • A sound understanding of the institutional asset management business, our clients and the markets in which we operate
  • Understanding of the institutional sales process and its accompanying metrics
  • Ability to make sensible and pragmatic decisions, and to understand the wider business context
  • Awareness of the key strictures of the regulatory environment that GCS operates under in NAM.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced/high pressure environment, delivering to multiple deadlines and different stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft suite of products, eg Excel, Powerpoint, Word
  • Demonstrated high-level skills with MS CoPilot

 

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Exact compensation amount may vary and will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual’s experience, skills and qualifications. Total compensation for this role includes eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

 

$160,000 - $190,000
