Senior Associate, Statutory Reporting Accountant

The Statutory Reporting team is responsible for completing statutory reports for insurance carrier clients following NAIC Reporting guidelines.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Preparation and filing of Client's Annual and Quarterly NAIC Statutory Statements, including all NAIC Supplemental Filings for filing with the Domiciliary Department of Insurance, the NAIC, and all other states in which the Client is authorized and licensed.
• Preparing response to any regulatory letters resulting from filings made to the Domiciliary Department of Insurance, the NAIC, and all other states in which the Client is authorized and licensed;
• Preparing other reports as may be required such as quarterly risk-based projections and minimum funding requirements, competitor analysis, etc.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years experience within Insurance field
• Strong understanding of NAIC reporting regulations and insurance-related reporting procedures
• Ability to make decisions within established company policies to meet business objectives
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and develop department activities
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Colorado: Salary range for the position: 80000 USD to 130000 USD.
