Senior Business Analysts work directly with Activate team members at all levels of the organization, from fellow analysts to the managing directors and CEO. As essential team members, analysts are expected to contribute to team discussions and participate in client meetings.

The Senior Business Analyst's role will vary by project, but will typically involve a combination of the following:

  • Industry and user research (e.g. market/consumer trends, commissioned surveys, expert interviews)
  • Analysis such as market sizing and building revenue models
  • Contribution to brainstorming and general direction of analysis
  • Creating, designing, and delivering client presentations
  • Guiding and developing team members (i.e. analysts)
  • Keeping up with overall technology and media trends

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree accompanied by a strong academic record
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and research capabilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong interest in the media/tech space
  • Independent, motivated, and proactive team player
The first-year base compensation for a Senior Business Analyst is $128,000 to $168,000 with a discretionary target bonus of 25% of base compensation, with total target compensation in the range of $160,000 to $210,000.
