About the Job

Join us on our mission to empower ambitious entrepreneurs and leaders to access more, travel better, and grow faster.
FoundersCard is the membership for entrepreneurs and business leaders who value access, privileges, and a powerful community. We pair high-value benefits with a network that helps members unlock opportunities, elevate their travel, and build meaningful connections.

We’re entering an exciting new chapter of growth—and expanding our distribution partnerships is core to that strategy. As our first dedicated Business Development hire, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our distribution lead-generation engine. This is a high-impact, top-of-funnel role that directly fuels FoundersCard’s next stage of expansion.
If you’re a proactive, highly organized BDR who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments—and you want to help shape the future of a premium lifestyle + business brand—we’d love to meet you.

The Role

We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Senior Business Development Representative to join our NYC team. This role focuses entirely on identifying, initiating, and qualifying strategic distribution partnerships with organizations that want to offer FoundersCard as a loyalty benefit to their customers.
This is not a traditional “sell a product” role. Instead, you’ll offer partners a meaningful, no-cost value they can extend to their customers—while also unlocking attractive revenue-share opportunities tied to new paid memberships.
The ideal candidate is a hunter: resourceful, curious, persistent, and excited to build a brand-new motion from the ground up.

  • Execute high-volume, high-quality outbound outreach to key decision-makers
  • Introduce FoundersCard’s value proposition and uncover partner objectives
  • Qualify leads and assess fit based on audience size, market alignment, and partnership potential

  • Ensure a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities to senior leadership for closing
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline progress
  • Consistently meet or exceed outreach, qualification, meetings booked, and opportunity creation targets

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of business development experience at a high-growth company, preferably in SaaS/tech, with strong outbound prospecting discipline
  • Strong prospecting skills—you’re confident cold emailing, calling, and creatively opening new doors
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor value propositions to diverse partner audiences
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—you’re excited to build a new function, experiment, and iterate
  • Experience with sales engagement tools and CRM pipeline management
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and consistent in maintaining outreach volume
  • Based in NYC or willing to work from our midtown office 4 days/week

  • High visibility and direct impact on revenue and membership growth
  • A lean, profitable, founder-led company with strong momentum
  • Competitive compensation + comprehensive benefits
