Senior Communications Manager, Marketing

Location: New York, NY (In-office 4x per week @NoMad NYC)

About Us

At Kizen, we build technology that makes AI actually work for people.

Our platform helps organizations automate the workflows that matter most — from helping insurance agents manage contracting and commissions, to enabling healthcare providers to deliver proactive patient care, to empowering financial institutions to classify documents and extract data automatically.

And that’s just the beginning. With Kizen, developers can build new enterprise applications, while business users can customize dashboards and agents using AI, low-code, or code — all on the same platform. The possibilities are limited only by imagination.

What used to take months or years to build, configure, and connect now takes just days. Kizen combines powerful pre-built agents and use cases with an enterprise platform for automation and data connection — all built on an AI-first architecture that’s easy to adopt, scale, and trust.

We’re not chasing hype. We’re solving real operational problems and helping the world’s most complex organizations work faster, smarter, and more humanely.

Join us in transforming how industries work — one workflow, one agent, and one customer success story at a time.

About the Role

Do you love helping the world understand a brand? Help define how the world understands Kizen and how our AI can finally deliver real outcomes for enterprises.

We are looking for a hands-on Communications Manager, Marketing with a history of turning complex products into clear stories that earn attention, trust, and demand as we bring our next-gen platform to the world.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for someone who wants to be at the heart of the AI movement to better humanity. As the Communications Manager, Marketing, you’ll be working directly with our VP of Marketing to shape Kizen’s narrative, launch strategy, and external voice — from press and thought leadership to product storytelling and customer proof.

In this dynamic role, you’ll lead our efforts responsible for:

  1. Messaging & positioning: Own the core story, proof points, and talk tracks that make Kizen instantly understandable and differentiable.
  2. Launch communications: Drive integrated communications for product releases, partnerships, and major announcements, ensuring consistency across channels.
  3. PR & thought leadership: Build Kizen’s credibility with media, analysts, and the market through proactive storytelling and executive comms.
  4. Content & editorial: Create and oversee content that supports awareness and pipeline—customer stories, blogs, announcements, and sales enablement toolkits.
  5. Social media & brand voice: Own Kizen’s social presence (especially LinkedIn) by shaping the editorial calendar, writing/overseeing posts, and ensuring our tone stays consistent, confident, and grounded in real product and customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities 1) Own Kizen’s messaging and narrative

Develop and maintain a clear messaging architecture (value prop, pillars, proof points, competitive positioning) that works for IT decision-makers and c-suite audiences.

  • Build messaging frameworks, FAQs, talk tracks, and pitch narratives
  • Ensure consistency across website, decks, social, PR, events, and sales materials
  • Partner with product/engineering to translate “how it works” into “why it matters”
2) Lead external communications via digital and social media

Run communications planning for launches and major moments.

  • Write and coordinate press releases, launch blogs, and announcement toolkits
  • Align internal stakeholders (executives, engineering, sales) to hit timelines and approvals
  • Manage launch calendars, channel plans, and post-launch measurement
  • Own our social media channels as part of the overall brand communications strategy
3) Drive PR, media relations, and external visibility

Build and run a consistent PR engine that increases Kizen’s visibility and credibility in enterprise AI, automation, and our verticals.

  • Develop story angles, pitch narratives, and a proactive media calendar
  • Build relationships with reporters/editors and manage inbound press
  • Write press releases, media briefs, Q&As, and spokesperson prep
  • Track coverage quality, message pull-through, sentiment, and share of voice
4) Build executive thought leadership and credibility

Help our leaders show up with clarity and consistency, especially in the AI narrative.

  • Draft and edit executive LinkedIn posts, articles, and speaking abstracts
  • Create talking points for events, podcasts, webinars, and customer meetings
  • Maintain a proactive “ideas pipeline” tied to real customer outcomes
Requirements
  • 8+ years in communications, content marketing, PR, or brand communications (B2B required)
  • Experience positioning technical products for enterprise buyers (SaaS, AI, data, workflow, automation, devtools a plus)
  • Proven ability to translate complex concepts into crisp, credible messaging
  • Strong writing and editing skills across formats: PR, exec voice, web copy, customer stories, internal toolkits
  • Launch experience (product, partnership, funding, major announcements) with cross-functional coordination
  • Comfort working directly with executives and shaping thought leadership in their authentic voice
  • Strong project management skills: timelines, stakeholders, approvals, and parallel workstreams
  • Familiarity with PR workflows: media lists, pitching, briefing docs, and coverage measurement
  • Strong judgment and attention to detail, especially in sensitive or high-visibility moments
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and shift priorities without losing clarity
  • Collaborative working style with sales, engineering, and customer teams
  • Data-informed mindset: able to set goals and measure comms outcomes (coverage quality, engagement, pipeline influence)
  • Bonus: Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, insurance, financial services)
  • Bonus: Experience building customer proof programs (case studies, testimonials, ROI narratives)
  • Bonus: Existing relationships with key reporters, editors, and/or PR industry contacts (tech, enterprise software, AI, or relevant verticals) and a track record of leveraging that network to secure coverage and speaking opportunities.
