About Us

Legora is on a mission: to redefine how legal work gets done. From the very start we have been very clear about the fact that we are not building a solution for lawyers, we are building it with them, because it is the only way to make sure it gets done the right way; working side-by-side every step of the way.

Our AI-native workspace empowers legal professionals not just to work faster - but to ask better questions, unlock new insights. Every day, we push the boundaries of legal tech to make complex processes smarter, faster, and more human. From thousands of documents analysed in minutes to intelligent workflows designed in collaboration with leading practices, we’re turning possibility into reality.

Today we are trusted by global firms like Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Bird & Bird and Linklaters in over 40 countries, but we have no plans on stopping here. We ship fast, we iterate effectively, and we scale rapidly - not by accident, but by design.

When you join Legora, you become part of a team that believes "good enough" isn’t good enough and that the way to win is together, by empowering lawyers to do their best work with technology that truly understands them. If you’re excited by building from first principles, working with exceptional people, and accelerating change in a high-stakes, high-impact domain—then this is the moment and the place.

We’re not just shaping the future of legal tech — we’re defining it. Ready to join us in building the intelligent future of law?

We’re hiring a Senior Corporate Development Manager to help shape Legora’s long-term growth through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. You’ll sit close to the executive team and operate at the center of some of the company’s most consequential decisions - build, buy, or partner - with a mandate to turn strategy into action.

This is a senior, high-impact role with real ownership. You’ll lead complex, cross-functional work end to end, influence product and market strategy, and help define Legora’s trajectory as we scale.

What You Will Be Doing

You’ll work closely with Legora’s leadership to identify, evaluate, and execute the opportunities that matter most for our long-term growth. From early strategic thinking to deal execution and integration, you’ll own the full lifecycle and help align teams around a clear strategic direction.

More than that, we believe you will thrive by taking ownership of:

  • Partnering with the executive team to define strategic priorities and assess build, buy, and partner opportunities

  • Developing strategic theses, business case memos, financial analyses, and executive-level presentations to support decision-making

  • Owning corporate development processes end to end, including opportunity evaluation, due diligence, deal execution, and post-deal integration

  • Leading financial analysis to support valuation, negotiations, and investment decisions

  • Building perspectives on market trends, competitive dynamics, and relevant VC, partnership, and M&A activity

  • Working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance, Legal, and People to drive alignment and execution

What You Bring

You’re someone who combines strong strategic judgment with hands-on execution. You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity, enjoy owning complex problems, and know how to move between big-picture thinking and detailed analysis without losing momentum.

More than that, we believe you will bring:

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, VC/PE, Strategy, or similar roles

  • Demonstrated experience owning M&A and/or strategic partnership processes end to end

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear recommendations

  • A high degree of autonomy, ownership, and accountability in fast-moving environments

  • A structured, thoughtful approach to problem-solving and decision-making

  • The ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market

Nice to Have

While not required, we think this role could be an especially strong fit if you’ve operated in high-growth technology environments or worked close to product-led businesses. Experience in adjacent markets or prior operating roles can be a meaningful advantage.

More than that, we’d be excited if you bring:

  • Experience in corporate development at a high-growth SaaS or technology company

  • Exposure to legal tech, enterprise software, or regulated B2B markets

  • A background that blends strategy, transactions, and operating experience

What's in it for you
  • Competitive package: Comprehensive salary, benefits, and tools for success.

  • In-person environment: Union Square NYC office designed for ambitious builders.

  • Benefits: U.S. employees receive medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible paid time off plus company holidays, and a 401(k) with company match and automatic enrollment.

Legora is an Equal Opportunity Employer

At Legora, we believe great teams are built on diversity of thought and experience. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and committed to creating an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can do their best work. We welcome people of all backgrounds and don’t discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
