About the role
- Lead full-funnel experimentation and optimization across all traffic channels, running experiments through the complete customer journey for Rocket Mortgage storefronts and partner properties including Redfin
- Design and execute A/B, multivariate, and time-based tests focused on conversion impact, including content variations, user experience enhancements, and technical optimizations that influence both traditional and AI Search performance
- Collaborate with SEO managers, content growth teams, product teams, and engineering to identify high-impact testing opportunities and translate cross-functional insights into actionable experiments
- Build and design experiments using web performance platforms such as Amplitude and Optimizely, with hands-on technical aptitude and ability to work in implementation details
- Measure and analyze the impact of optimization changes over time, accounting for market noise and external factors that may influence performance across search and direct channels
- Possess deep knowledge of experimentation methodology and determine the most appropriate testing approach based on unique circumstances and constraints of each context
- Mentor junior team members on testing best practices, CRO fundamentals, and advanced experimentation techniques, including the use of AI tools to enhance experiment design and administration
About you
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO), performance marketing, or related digital optimization roles
- Demonstrated expertise with web performance and testing platforms such as Optimizely, Amplitude, or similar tools
- Proven track record of running A/B and multivariate tests with strong understanding of experimentation methodology and statistical measures
- Advanced proficiency with web analytics tools and the ability to work with large, complex datasets
- Power user of AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, technology, data science, or a related field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing full-funnel user journeys from initial traffic through conversion
- Hands-on experience building and designing experiments from the ground up
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including SEO, content, product, and engineering
- Familiarity with AI Search, including Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) or Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies and best practices
- Knowledge of schema markup, structured data, and technical SEO implementations
- Experience optimizing for multiple digital properties or storefronts
- Familiarity with AI tools and techniques for experiment design and optimization
